Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Kay Hagan applauded a decision by the F-35 Joint Program Office to support construction of the F-35 Vertical Lift Fan (VLF) Repair and Test Facility for Fleet Readiness Center (FRC East) at Cherry Point. In February, Senator Hagan joined a bipartisan group of her colleagues in sending a letter to Navy Secretary Ray Mabus requesting that the Navy restore funding previously planned for construction of the facility. >>READ MORE
